Firefighters were able to contain a fully involved blaze on Monday night that completely destroyed a garage in the Radisson Heights-Albert Park area.
Crews were called to the 2600 block of 11 Avenue SE at about 11:00 p.m. Monday and say the flames were rising six metres above the roofline of the garage when they arrived.
They were able to knock down the fire and confine it to the garage. A vehicle inside was completely destroyed and two other vehicles that were parked outside sustained minor damage.
The couple who lived in the adjacent home was not injured.
Fire investigators are looking into a cause.
