Highway 1A east of Canmore was closed for several hours on Sunday after a crash that claimed the life of a 61-year-old Calgary man.
At about 3:30 p.m., the man was riding eastbound on the highway when he crashed into a tour bus.
He was seriously injured in the crash and died shortly after EMS arrived on scene.
He has not been identified.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
The highway was reopened at around 8 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
