A man in his 20s is recovering in hospital after crashing his motorcycle on a ramp in the city’s northwest on Thursday morning.

Paramedics were called to a ramp near the Trans-Canada Highway and Stoney Trail NW at about 7:30 a.m. for reports of a crash.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to Foothills Medical Centre with serious soft-tissue injuries and possible internal injuries.

EMS officials say his condition at the time was not considered life threatening.

There is no word on what caused the driver to crash.
