Calgary police are appealing to the public for help to identify a man involved in a bank fraud back in June.

Police say a man entered the BMO at 6550 Macleod Trail S at about 4:30 p.m. on June 19 and say he used a fraudulent driver’s licence and Social Insurance Number to take out a large sum of money and obtain a bank draft.

The next day, a second person went back to the same bank and tried to cash the bank draft.

Tellers in the bank became suspicious and asked the man a series of questions and the man then fled the bank in a white Ford F-350 truck.

Police have released a photo of one of the men and are asking anyone with information about his identify to call police at 403-266-1234 or Crime Stoppers anonymously using any of the following methods:
