Members of the Strathmore RCMP detachment have received information from an undisclosed source indicating a missing local woman may be in the Edmonton-area.
Alison Close, a 60-year-old from Strathmore, was last seen on the morning of July 7 near the Strathmore Walmart. She was wearing her Super 8 Motel uniform and was scheduled to work that day, but never arrived for her shift.
“We just want to hear from Alison in order to confirm that she is safe and okay” said Cst. Shannon White.
Close is described as:
- Approximately 157 cm (5’2”) tall
- Weighing roughly 59 kg (130 lbs)
- Having reddish coloured, shoulder length hair
Anyone with information regarding Close’s current whereabouts, including Close herself, is asked to contact the Strathmore RCMP detachment, 403-934-3535, or local police.
