Kettle Lake Ranch is a magnificent property on the fringes of the city and agents from Sotheby’s are pulling out all the stops to get clients to the home when it hits the market on Friday.
Construction started in the late 1990s and the 242 acre ranch boasts two houses, a number of out buildings, all the entertainment options one could ever need and an unbelievable view of the mountains
There is also a riding barn, large hay storage building and accommodations for staff.
The home will be listed for $37.8M and Sotheby’s says it will take some time to sell.
“This property is going to take some time to sell. I mean, we'd love to move it quickly for our client, but we’ve got to showcase this properly locally, nationally and globally,” said Mark Evernden, Sotheby’s Senior VP of Sales.
Inside the custom home the owners have spent a lot of time designing and decorating the space.
Everything is high-end and there are chandeliers in every room.
The bedrooms are luxurious and the entertainment possibilities are endless.
“We've got a full poker room with a bar already set up for the gents and ladies, and then we also have a full customized wine cellar,” said Evernden.
Agents say that when you're dealing with clients for a property like this, a helicopter is the best way to get them out to see it.
“We're dealing with people of high net worth, that section of the pie when you're dealing with a property of this magnitude, as well, is that much smaller so they do have a high level of expectation,” said real estate associate, Jeff Tincher.
The current owners are selling because they are downsizing and looking to travel more.
Sotheby's International Realty Canada has been working with them for the last ten months to list the property.
