The following are the road closures for the City of Calgary.
Southeast
4 Street S.E. south of Highfield Road will be closed for gas service installations from 8 a.m. on Thursday August 26 to 8 p.m. on Saturday August 28.
Northbound Walden Gate S.E. at Walden Link will be closed for utility work from 8 a.m. on Thursday August 26 to 6 p.m. on Monday August 30.
Southwest
Glenmore Trail will be closed in both direction between Richard Road and 37 Street S.W. from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25 for bridge construction. Motorists are encouraged to follow detour signs. Delays are expected
Eastbound Glenmore Trail between 45 Street and 37 Street S.W. will be reduced to one lane on Thursday, August 26 and Friday, August 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for paving.
37 Street S.W. will be reduced to one lane in both directions between Glenmore Trail and Richardson Way S.W. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 26 for road construction. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to follow detour signs provided.
There will be various lane closures on Sifton Boulevard between Elbow Drive and 14a Street S.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday August 26 and 2 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday August 28 for paving.
11 Avenue S.W. between 2 Street and 4 Street will be closed from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday August 26 for utility work.
11 Avenue S.W. between Centre Street and 1 Street S.W. will be closed from 12 midnight to 3:30 a.m. on Thursday August 26 for utility work.
The two left lanes of 11 Avenue S.W. between Centre Street and 1 Street S.W. will be closed from 10 a.m. on Thursday August 26 until 6 p.m. on Friday September 3.
Northeast
Northbound Deerfoot Trail will be closed between McKnight Boulevard N.E. and Airport Trail N.E. on Wednesday, August 25 and Thursday, August 26 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. for overhead sign installation. Motorists are encouraged to follow detour signs.
This work is part of a number of ongoing road closures and lane restrictions in Calgary.
