Police are looking for suspects connected to the assault of a young woman along 17 Avenue, Calgary’s club district.
Just before midnight, a passerby called 911 after they found a woman in her early 20s unconscious and bleeding from her head.
Emergency crews determined she suffered serious injuries. She was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Witnesses at the scene say a man in his early 20s was spotted running from the scene.
This is the latest in a string of violent attacks along 17 Avenue in the past few weeks.
Police are asking anyone with information about the assault to contact them.
