RCMP have released the name of the man killed in an avalanche near Canmore.
On January 14th, John George Hudson was killed after being caught in the snow slide.
The 37-year-old Calgarian was hiking with a friend near the Three Sisters Dam.
An avalanche search dog found Hudson under a half-metre of snow and debris.
