Emergency crews were called out to the Glenmore Reservoir on Friday afternoon for reports of a body in the water.
Calgary Fire Department Aquatics Rescue Team and police were called to the scene near the bridge at Glenmore Trail S.W. just before noon.
Fire crews used their boat to locate the body and bring it to the boat launch for transfer to the Medical Examiner's Office.
Police are investigating and say it is not known how the body got in the water.
