Officials have issued a warning about a dangerous dog that went missing in Kananaskis Country over the weekend.
Alberta Parks says the animal, a Great Dane-black lab cross named Kona, went missing at the east end of the Yamnuska Traverse on Saturday.
The dog is 140 pounds and has been declared a vicious dog by the City of Calgary.
Officials warn that if you see the dog, you should not approach it. Rather, you should report the sighting immediately to the Kananaskis Dispatch or the Canmore RCMP at 403-678-5516.
