Police continue to investigate after the body of a man was found inside a southwest residence on Tuesday and say the death has not yet been ruled a homicide but that it is suspicious.

A man went to a Calgary Fire Department Station on 10 Avenue SW on Tuesday and told crews that he needed help with his roommate.

He was driven to a home in the 1800 block of 17 Street S.W. where they found a man dead inside.

Police attended the residence at about 1:30 p.m. and say they believe the death to be suspicious in nature.

An autopsy is underway to determine how the man died.
