The funeral for a 6-year-old girl who died earlier this week will be held Sunday.
Meika Dawn Jordan was taken to the Alberta Children's Hospital on the evening of November 13, 2011 suffering critical injuries.
Police major crimes investigators took over the case after she died on November 14, 2011.
Her funeral will be held at the Mountain View funeral home Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
Mieka's family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Alberta Children's Hospital in her name.
Police say it could be over a week before they release the cause of Meika Dawn's death.
