Members of the Lethbridge Police Service are thanking the public for their assistance wit the search for a 15-year-old boy with special needs.

According to police, Adrian Lopez was last seen in the 2300 block of 13 Street North at approximately 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after exiting a bus.

The 15-year-old is non-verbal, has special needs and is incapable of responding to attempts to communicate with him. The teenager with autism may attempt to run if he is approached.

Shortly after 6:00 p.m., LPS officials confirmed Lopez had been found approximately 10 blocks from his last known location and he has been reunited with his family.
