A man is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he was shot during a home invasion in the southeast Calgary neighbourhood of Dover.
Police were called to the area at just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, responding to an incident where a man was shot.
There is no information on how many shots were fired or where the man was hit, but he was transported to hospital.
Police are having trouble verifying what happened from the victim, but hope to question him about the incident later on.
The investigation is in its preliminary stages, but police say it was not a random attack.
