Calgary Police were called to the southwest community of Bankview on Thursday night after residents reported hearing gunshots.
Police, along with K9 units and the Tactical Team, reported to a multi-unit complex in the 2200 block of 14 St. S.W.
A resident, who lives across the street from the building, says he heard a gunshot and spotted a person carrying a rifle.
Units at the scene took no chances, taping off the area and surrounded the home in question.
Eventually, two men were arrested and the firearm turned out to be an Airsoft gun.
There is no word on whether any charges will be laid.
