A second person is facing charges in connection to a case of hate-motivated vandalism at a northwest LRT station last week.

Police say two men entered the Tuscany CTrain Station on Thursday, December 3 at about 5:45 p.m., and spray painted anti-Syrian and anti-refugee sentiments on parts of the platforms, a walkway ramp leading from the parking lot and a southbound CTrain.

Damage was also done to five vehicles that were parked in the south parking lot.

On Thursday, Miguel Lavergne, 30, was charged with six counts of mischief and on Friday Kyle James MacKenzie, 28, was also charged with the same offences.

The Crown is working to determine if hate charges are applicable in both cases.

MacKenzie is scheduled to appear in court on December 18 and Lavergne is expected to appear in court on January 25, 2016.
