A man, believed to be in his seventies, is in potentially life threatening condition after driving his vehicle into a row of parked cars on Sunday afternoon.

EMS spokesperson Stuart Brideaux says a paramedic crew was called to the 100 block of 43 Avenue Northwest, in the community of Highland Park, at approximately 3:00 p.m. following reports of a multi-vehicle crash. EMS located one occupied vehicle with significant front damage and a row of three unoccupied vehicles with varying degrees of damage.

The driver of the vehicle was found to be in potentially life threatening condition after suffering a suspected undisclosed medical issue prior to the crash. The driver was transported by ambulance to the Foothills Medical Centre.
