Jury selection begins on Friday for a man charged with killing his girlfriend's parents and eight-year-old brother.
The girlfriend's family was stabbed to death in their Medicine Hat home in April of 2006.
Jeremy Steinke, and his 12-year-old girlfriend, were both charged with the crime.
In 2007, the girlfriend was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder and is serving 10 years in a psychiatric facility.
Steinke's trail is being held in Calgary because a judge ruled the intense publicity of his girlfriend's trail threatened Steinke's chance of a fair hearing in Medicine Hat.
