Police are investigating a fatal incident on the LRT line in downtown Calgary Tuesday.
A boy approximately five years old died around 12:15 p.m.
The boy was on the LRT platform at 7 Avenue & 3 Street S.W.
Witnesses say the train was moving when the boy somehow fell between the train and the platform.

Police say the boy was running to catch the train when he fell. The gap between the train and the platform is just a few inches.
Passengers tried to rescue the boy, but there was little they could do.
