Cochrane RCMP have laid charges after an incident on Stoney First Nation.
The assault happened on Saturday at around 11 a.m.
RCMP say two people were injured. The first victim has injuries to their face; the second victim was taken to hospital in serious condition.
Officers took two suspects into custody.
Herman Rabbit, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault causing bodily harm.
Cameron Lefthand, 32, has been charged with obstructing a police officer.
