Banff National Park and Lake Louise played host to ABC’s The Bachelor and will be featured in an upcoming episode next week.

Sean Lowe, 29, from Dallas, and his bachelorettes travelled north to record the show and participated in rock climbing at Tunnel Mountain, canoeing at Lake Louise and a private excursion to the Columbia Icefield.

“It was a fun-filled privilege to have the cast and crew of The Bachelor come to Banff National Park and showcase the destination on such a grand scale,” said Julie Canning, President and CEO of Banff Lake Louise Tourism. “The park’s setting, with its awe-inspiring surroundings, seems to naturally inspire romance so it will be exciting to see how Sean’s romantic escapades in beautiful Banff and Lake Louise unravel.”

Lowe took the ladies on several one-on-one and group dates in the area and ended the visit with the rose ceremony in the Victoria Ballroom at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

The hotel also accommodated the cast and crew during their visit.

The episode will air on a special day, Tuesday, February 5 on ABC. Check local listings for the start time.
