A man who is already in police custody facing prostitution charges has now also been charged with possessing and accessing child pornography.
Jeremy Wayne Broecker, 32, was charged earlier this year with several offences, including personation, procuring, living off the avails and extortion after allegedly luring a young Calgary woman to Victoria and forcing her into prostitution.
Subsequent search warrants were executed on computer equipment and the new charges were added.
Police say Broecker is from Michigan, but was living in Victoria, B.C., at the time of the alleged offences.
