Calgary police are investigating a late morning, single vehicle crash that claimed the life of an adult male.
The vehicle was driving on northbound 36 St, just north of Memorial Dr, in the city’s northeast, when the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree near the Marlborough Mall parking lot.
The driver had suffered a serious medical condition prior to leaving the road.
EMS responded to the scene and transported the severely injured man to hospital where the unidentified driver was pronounced dead .
An investigation into the crash continues.
