A Calgary woman facing charges in a recent cocaine bust is also the owner of two pitbulls set to be destroyed following a vicious attack at a home in Applewood.

31-year-old Donna Tran was arrested Wednesday when police searched three homes and two businesses seizing nearly a million dollars worth of cocaine.  Tran is facing numerous drug-related charges.

If Tran stands trial for the drug charges it will not be her first time appearing in court.

Tran's two dogs were ordered destroyed last month following a dangerous dog hearing.

In April, Tran’s pitbulls attacked a woman outside of an Applewood home.  The victim suffered severe damage to her face with half of her nose being removed.

CTV has learned Tran is appealing the order to destroy the dogs.  A date for a hearing has not been determined.

Three other people have been charged in connection to Wednesday’s drug bust.
