Nearly a week and a half has passed since Justin Rhodes went missing and family members continue to canvass the city for signs of the 21-year-old.

On Saturday, friends, family and volunteers, posted signs and passed out flyers with Justin’s photo at locations throughout south Calgary.

“We don’t have any answers,” said Justin’s mother, Karleen Thibault. “We’ve had a few leads come in from all over the place which we really appreciate. People are thinking they’ve seen him and the police are doing a really good job of following up on all of those leads.”

On September 24, Justin was getting a ride home from a friend when he exited the car at the intersection of Southland Dr. and Fairmont Dr. S.E. He has not been heard from since.

“We don’t know what else to do,” said Thibault of the flyer and poster campaign. “The only thing we can do is keep looking, keep searching, keep knocking on doors, and keep asking people if they’ve seen him.”

The family has created a Help Bring Justin Home Facebook page with information about the ongoing search effort.

The missing man is described as:

  • A Caucasian male
  • With blonde hair
  • Approximately 178 cm (5’10”) tall
  • Weighing 64 kg (140 lbs)
  • Having a slim build

Anyone with information about Justin’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service, 403-266-1234, or Crime Stoppers.
