A female victim has been transported to hospital following an afternoon stabbing in the city’s northeast.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., police and EMS responded to a location in the 100 block of Skyview Shores Manor Northeast following reports of a stabbing.
According to EMS spokesperson Adam Loria, a female in her twenties was transported to hospital in stable, non-life threatening condition with a serious, traumatic injury to her upper torso.
Police arrested two people at the scene in connection to an unrelated matter. As part of the ongoing investigation, police are holding a home and a vehicle.
Investigators await the opportunity to interview the victim.
