Calgary police are investigating reports of Thursday evening gunshots in the northeast neighbourhood of Bridgeland.
According to police, witnesses called 911 after hearing as many as four gunshots shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the vicinity of McDougall Court Northeast.
A person of interest was seen running from the area armed with a handgun. Police believe shots may have been fired at a vehicle.
No injuries have been reported. Police interviewed several witnesses and cordoned off streets in the hours following the calls to 911 .
