A man is now in police custody after he was caught taking a Calgary Transit bus for a joyride out from in front of Foothills Hospital.
At just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, hospital officials told police that a patient from the hospital hopped on board the bus and drove away.
Police say the driver was likely taking a break when the bus was taken.
A short time later, police stopped the bus and arrested the man.
No one was on board the bus at the time.
Charges are pending.
