Police and Parks Canada crews have located a missing hiker who was last seen near Emerald Lake on Friday.
John Deon, 54, of Golden, was last seen heading down the west side of Mount Carnarvon in Yoho National Park and was expected to return from his trip on Friday evening.
A search was launched on Sunday at about 10:00 a.m. after friends became concerned when he failed to show up for work.
Parks Canada led the search and located Deon at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Parks officials have not disclosed where exactly he was found but did say that he is safe and sound.
