Calgary Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a 'person of interest' in connection with a robbery at a northeast gas station.

At about 3:35 a.m. on July 9, police say a man entered a Petro Canada located at 2220 68 Street N.E.

He showed a weapon to the clerk and demanded money from the register, then fled westbound from the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 25 to 35 years old
  • Slim build
  • Face covered with a balaclava or bandana
  • Wearing a dark hoodie and carrying a backpack

Investigators are looking into whether or not this suspect is connected to any other similar incidents.
