RCMP release description of suspect vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run east of Calgary

Gleichen RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a New Year’s Day collision that took the life of a 19-year-old man.

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on January 1, 2013, the body of Reyd Nevin Rabbit Carrier was found in a ditch along Highway 901, approximately three kilometres west of Highway 547, on the Siksika First Nation.  

The suspect vehicle is described as:

• 2010 – 2013 Chevrolet Equinox
• Believed to have significant damage to the front end on the passenger side
• Unknown colour

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or knows the current whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to contact Gleichen RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
