Police have identified human remains that were found in a south Calgary park on Tuesday as that of a woman who went missing last month.
Patricia Overes, 52, also known as Patricia Arneson, was last seen in the Chaparral area on January 29th at around 1:30 p.m.
She left her home on foot and hadn't been seen or heard from since.
A passerby discovered the remains in Fish Creek Park at about 4:30 p.m. and notified police.
Police have determined the woman’s death to be non-criminal in nature and say no foul play is suspected.
