If twitter is any indication, it would seem all of Calgary made an appearance at Folk Fest, at some point, this weekend.
Weather was very good to the popular music festival this year. Sunny days and warm temperatures on the weekend kept all concert goers in a good mood. It also meant large crowds which was great for the 76 artists performing on the festival’s eight stages.
The only real snafu happened on Friday night when the fire department had to be called to put out a fire at one of the food trucks on site.
This was the 35th anniversary of the Calgary Folk Music Festival.
