Members of the High River RCMP are investigating the Friday afternoon armed robbery of the town’s Scotiabank.
Shortly before 5:00 p.m., a man entered the bank on 3 Ave S.E. and approached the teller. The suspect demanded cash and produced an item which is believed to have been a pistol.
The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and the man fled without incident.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Believed to be in his mid 20’s
- Average height
- Having a thin, red colored goatee
At the time of the robbery, the suspect was dressed entirely in black, save for brown shoes
