The Quickdraw Animation Society's annual GIRAF animation festival (more formally known as the Giant Incandescent Resonating Animation Festival) will open with a screening of The Tale of the Princess Kaguya.
Kaguya is the first film in 14 years from director Isao Takahati, best known as the director of the acclaimed 1988 film Grave of the Fireflies and as co‐founder of legendary animation studio Studio Ghibli with Hayao Miyazaki.
