Calgary police have charged two men in connection with the murder of a man whose body was found inside a northwest hotel room last September.

On September 14, 2015, emergency crews were called to the Banff Trail Motel at 2107 16 Avenue N.W. at about noon and found a man dead in one of the rooms.

The victim was identified as Christian Jovanovic, 41, of Calgary.

Police made the determination that his death was criminal in nature but have not released any details about his cause of death.

Investigators announced on Friday that two men, Lee Sheldon Kelner, 33, and Jason Edward Harwood, 43, have been each been charged with second degree murder.

Martin Allan Rangers, 35, was also charged with second degree murder in Jovanovic’s death last year.

There is no information on when the two other accused will appear in court.
