Darren Coupal will stand trial for impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving.

His preliminary hearing wrapped up and he will now go to trial.

Coupal was charged after a hit and run crash April 30th last year in the southeast community of Bridlewood.

42-year-old Linda Davey was out for a walk with family and friends when she was fatally hit.

Her 15 year old son, who has severe cerebral palsy, was seriously injured, as was another person.

Coupal has been under house arrest. He faces a total of eleven charges, three counts each of impaired driving, dangerous driving and hit and run, as well as failing or refusing to provide a breath sample and driving without a licence.
