RCMP is investigating the death of a man found in a burning vehicle in a field off a rural road east of Innisfail.
Police were called to a complaint of a vehicle on fire on Thursday at about 2:30 p.m.
A man was found deceased in the vehicle by emergency crews.
A forensic team is working to identify the man and an autopsy is pending.
RCMP confirm they are treating the death as a homicide.
