Calgary police have called off the search for a senior who went missing from the community of Scenic Acres a week ago.

The man hadn't been heard from since leaving his home in the 0-100 block of Schiller Crescent N.W. on the evening of Feb. 20. The following day, police issued a public plea for help finding him.

On Monday, police confirmed the man's body had since been located.

As his death is not considered criminal in nature, no other details will be released.
