One man is dead and another clings to life in hospital following a Saturday morning shooting along 8 Ave. S.W.
At approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of 8 Ave. S.W. following reports of gunshots in the area.
Two gunshot victims were located and transported by EMS to the Foothills Hospital in life threatening condition. One victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, the other victim continues to receive medical care.
The identities of the two victims have not been released but police believe the two men are in their mid-twenties.
The CPS Homicide Unit continues to investigate the shooting.
