CTV News has learned a man already facing charges for allegedly assaulting three boys while working as a church volunteer in the 80's and 90's, will be in court on Thursday to face new charges.

Russell Louis Rodman, 59, a former church volunteer, was charged on January 31, 2012, with two counts of sexual assault and one count each of gross indecency, indecent exposure to a person under 14, and sexual contact with youth by a person in authority.

Police say that Rodman was involved in Calgary based Baptist churches in volunteer leadership roles at the time of the assaults, between 1981 and 1995.

All of the charges relate to three male victims, ranging in age from 11 to 14.

The incidents were all thought to have occurred inside a Calgary home.

The new charges relate to possession of child pornography.
