Thanks to the quick thinking of a pair of Good Samaritans, a three year old boy was reunited with his mother Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Thursday a man approached a Calgary Transit bus driver at the Dalhousie bus loop. With him he had a three year old boy who appeared to be lost.
Vivian Sonnenberg called police and brought the boy onto the bus to wait for officers to arrive. Moments later Sonnenberg noticed a woman who was noticeably panicked. It turned out to be the boy's mother.
"You could tell it was her, just by the look on her face, walking towards the bus loop. She was looking for a little one." said Sonnenberg.
Calgary Police showed up just as Sonnenberg was reuniting the boy with his mother.
The entire ordeal lasted 15 minutes.
