The Calgary Stampede attracts some of the world’s best entertainment and Canadian country music fans won’t be disappointed with this year’s lineup so far.
On Thursday, Stampede officials announced that four-time Grammy winner Keith Urban will take the stage at the Scotiabank Saddledome on July 12.
“We couldn't be happier to have Keith make his first-ever Stampede appearance in 2014,” said Adam Oppenheim, managing director, Stampede Concerts Inc. “He is a great addition to this year’s concert lineup, he appeals to a wide variety of fans and has a great energy on stage.”
Urban is the second artist to sign on to the Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series for 2014.
Shania Twain will perform her only Canadian show in 2014 on the Stampede stage for two concerts on July 9 and 10th. Both shows are already sold out.
Tickets for Keith Urban go on sale on Saturday, March 8, 2014.
