Lethbridge Police continuing to investigate after a man was stabbed in the head by another man on Tuesday afternoon.
At about 4:55 p.m., officers were called to an alley along the 1400 block of 3 Avenue N.
When they got there, they found a man lying on the ground, suffering from a head wound.
The victim was transported by EMS to Chinook Regional Hospital, and then flown to Foothills Hospital in Calgary.
He remains in serious, but stable, condition.
Police arrested a 40-year-old man at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, but police do say that it appears that this was a targeted attack and both the assailant and victim knew each other.
