It's been two years since Jacqueline Crazybull was randomly murdered, but family are keeping her memory in the spotlight.
Family and friends of Jackie Crazybull held a "Justice for Jackie" walk Saturday afternoon.
This is the second annual walk and family members say they'll keep up their vigil until someone is charged with Jackie's murder.
Jackie's sister Sandra says, "It's been two years since my sister passed away. She was killed by a group of people stabbing people, and justice hasn't been served for Jackie."
Jackie's sister and other friends and relatives gathered at 18th Avenue and 1st Street Southwest where they held a sweetgrass ceremony for cleansing and healing.
A local performer sang a song written for Jacqueline Crazybull. From there the group headed to 17th Avenue Southwest. They walked, carrying signs that read "Justice for Jackie" and "We miss you."
The walk ended up at 11th Street, the place where Jacqueline Crazybull was killed.
Crazybull was stabbed in what police say was a random attack during a violent night.
Back on July 11th 2007, five people were stabbed all over the city including Crazybull. The rest survived.
The homicide unit tells CTV News that they have three suspects, but aren't able to lay charges just yet.
Sargeant Patti McCallum of the Calgary Police Service says, "They have been interviewed. They know that they are suspects in this case. Right now we are waiting for any additional information from family or associates of these three."
Anyone with any additional information that could help police solve this case and lay charges is asked to call city police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
