Occupy Calgary protestors continued their efforts downtown Sunday.

The group says it's demonstrating against inequality of wealth across the world.

They marched through the city yesterday but are now looking for ways to keep the movement alive.

As far as camping goes, Madison Wozni, says it could've been worse.

"It was a bit chilly but we were having fun, staying up late talking," says Wozni. "People came by giving donations of socks and gloves.

A day after hundreds marched through downtown Calgary, a smaller but dedicated crowd of Occupy Calgary participants continued their vigil at Olympic Plaza.

Many spent Saturday night in the plaza, while others joined the group Sunday afternoon. They met to discuss what their next steps should be and how to keep the momentum going.

A parallel protest continued in the East Village, where several people have been occupying St. Patrick's island for more than a week.

They want the city to step up efforts to provide affordable housing to the homeless.

As similar protests against income disparity continue around the world, people here say they plan to remain downtown for at least one more night. The demonstrations will continue at different locations over the next several weeks.
