Calgary Police are looking to the public to help them find a young man who reportedly took indecent photos of a woman on the CTrain.

On June 2, between 12:10 and 12:35 p.m., a man was on the train from Shawnessy Station into the downtown core.

While on the trip, he sat down next to woman who was standing on the train.

At that time, a witness observed him to be using a mobile electronic device with a built-in camera to record images underneath the woman’s dress.

The witness then alerted the victim, who confronted him.

He fled the scene at the City Hall Station.

The man is described as:

  • Asian
  • Clean shaven
  • Mid-20s
  • Shorter black hair
  • Wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black runners
  • Had a black backpack with a white ‘Telus’ logo on it

Police are working with authorities with Calgary Transit in connection with this investigation.
