Police are asking the public for help to locate a vehicle believed to be involved in the death of a Calgary man.

Okotoks RCMP released new information on Tuesday about the car.

On Friday, police located the nude body of a deceased man in the ditch along 242 Ave. just west of 80th St., near Okotoks around 8:25 a.m.

Police are treating the death as a homicide.

CTV News has learned from friends that the man is Orphee Landa. He was last seen leaving his Calgary home at about 2:00 a.m. Friday.

Police are waiting for the completion of an autopsy to officially release the man's identity.

The autopsy was postponed and is expected to be completed on Wednesday.

The vehicle is described as:

  • 2000 Chevrolet Impala
  • Green in colour
  • Tinted windows
  • Black rims

Police are not releasing the licence plate of the vehicle as it may have been changed.
