Sky keeps falling in downtown Calgary

Crews are now investigating a serious incident at Calgary’s old Hudson’s Bay building after a pane of glass fell from the building to the street below.

The large pane of glass fell from the building at the corner of 1 Street S.W. and Stephen Avenue sometime on Monday night.

It smashed in the street and luckily no one was hurt.

A section of 1 Street was closed for several hours to allow firefighters to clean up the mess and inspectors to check over the building.

There is no word on why the window fell.
